Jeremy Tick - Consultant, Personal Manager, CEO

  • Emperors New Clothes

Begun as a pet project by childhood friends from London, Richard Wheeler and Gavin Bond, Emperors New Clothes has, ove the course of five years, grown from one shirt reading 'Please Don't Feed the Models' into an internationally recognized brand.

In January 2004, Jeremy Tick, then director of SVM Models convinced Richard Wheeler to leave Elite Model Management and develop SVM's men's board.  Richard crafted what uickly earned recognition  as one of the most significant in New York.  He performed this concurrent with laying the foundation for Emperor's growth.  Following Tick's departure from industry, he was called upon to draft ENC's  first business plan thus forming an intimate bond with the emerging firm. Three years later, while pursuing his Master's Degree, Tick and his colleagues wrote Emperors New Clothes strategic plan.  What emerged during the process was a singular driving force behind the brand comprised of instinct, passion, and wit - the same qualities that had led Tick to recruit Wheeler four years prior.  Jeremy Tick, the consummate talent manager built his thesis around the design of an organizational model for implementation at Emperors New Clothes.  In June 2008 he became its first CEO.
